Another great day, what can I say?
Alegria cried at about 3:15 and I went out to the couch to wait and see if she'd fall back asleep quickly. She must have...but then, so did I because at 4:30, I woke up and realized I had fallen asleep on the couch! So I went to take a potty break and got back into bed...only to be woken up at 5:09. Oh well. So I went to get Alegria and nursed her and then we walked around and played. I also decided that instead of leaving her box of toys in the closet, I'd leave them out. So now her box of toys is out on the floor in her bedroom near the door and she can (and already has!) get into it and choose whatever toys she wants to play with.
At about 6:50, Alegria was sleepy again, so I nursed her and put her down for a nap. I wanted to nap, too, but I knew I'd never be able to get ready for Church on time if I did. So I jumped in the shower and began getting ready. At 8:10, Alegria woke up and since Cameron can get ready for Church much faster than me and I was in the middle of putting my makeup on anyway, he went to get Alegria and got her ready for Church.
We left the house at 8:45...perfect! It was raining a lot when we arrived at Church and Cameron had Abilehi and me get out at the front entrance...so nice! Then he went to park the car and got Alegria and himself into Church. We were all on time. Woo-hoo! :)
Primary went really well today. We finally sang the "Welcome" song to Abilehi. My sharing time lesson went well, too. :) Between sessions, I went to find Cameron and see if Alegria was doing well. I found Cameron in the hallway with her crawling around. He said she'd gotten a little restless in Priesthood and I can understand why...she hadn't eaten since 6:40, so she was hungry! I had a little time to spare before the junior Primary showed up, so I nursed her and then went back.
After Church, I introduced Cameron to a few of my friends and he spoke to a brother about boarding Cyrus at his ranch. Then we finally went home.
Alegria was exhausted, so I nursed her as soon as we got home. She and I both fell asleep almost immediately and it wasn't until almost 40 minutes later that I woke up and realized this. I finally got her into her crib at 1:20 and she cried for about 5 minutes before she fell asleep. Then I went out to get some pizzas heated in the oven for lunch.
After lunch, Cameron and I took a nap. Alegria woke up at 3:45 and I went to get her. I was hoping she'd play on her own so I could doze for a few minutes on the floor next to her, but she wasn't having any of that. So I walked with her and played with her until 5, when I fed her her solids for dinner. Cameron had woken up not long before then.
Afterwards, Cameron, Alegria and I went for a walk outside. Since it had rained a lot earlier today (so much that the power had gone out for a second three times this morning!), it wasn't hot. In fact, there was a nice breeze.
Once back home, Cameron played with Alegria. At 6:45 I nursed her and then brought her out to Cameron for him to get her ready for bed. Here she is, just chillin' on Daddy's chest.
I'm so happy for y'all. It must be absolutely wonderful to be together again. :) Tell Cameron I said hi!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you have Cameron home too. Now you can enjoy your new house together! P.S. I applaud your move to Blogger. Yay!
