It was sad to say goodbye to Grandma. We wish we could stay longer, but our visit had to come to an end at some point. I guess it just makes the memories that much sweeter. :)
Alegria did surprisingly well on the trip to Laramie, Wyoming. She slept on the way a few times and when we stopped at gas stations or rest stops to let the horse walk around and graze, we also let Alegria out of her car seat. She appreciated that. It was a long 12 hours on the road (normally a 9-10 hour drive, but with the horse and baby, we had to make a few more and longer stops than usual). We finally made it, though, and Alegria got to see Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Marlow before heading off to bed. :)

Up to this point, Alegria has loved riding Cyrus, but she hadn't yet gotten up the courage to pet him. Well, at one rest stop, she finally did!
