Snowy Day!

When Cameron left for work this morning, the streets looked wet. I didn't even think twice of it and just figured it had rained or was raining.

Well, when Alegria woke up and I got her out of bed, we went to say hi to Isis as we do every morning, and I was surprised to see snow covering the ground!

As the day progressed, the snow just got heavier and piled up more and more!

Isis was having a grand old time playing in the snow and throwing a stick around in the air and then catching it or digging it up out of the snow again!

By noon, Cameron was home. I didn't even know he was coming home because phone service was down, so it was rare that he or I could get a text message or call through. He said that Post was closed down in case of ice on the road and other such snow emergencies. Cameron was a little upset because he was planning on training with his men and this snow is nothing compared to the snow in Montana and so he knows it's possible to still do things in this weather.

On the bright side, though, we got to spend the rest of the day together!

Alegria was so cute! As the snow kept coming down even harder, she would go from the kitchen windows to the living room windows, look out the windows, and make the sign for "snow!"



Boy, was it coming down!

After her nap, Alegria decided she wanted to go back in her crib and just play:

Finally at the end of the day, it was time for a bath and Daddy gave Alegria a crazy hairdo!
