Poor Cyrus!

When Daddy got home from work today, we went to check on Cyrus.

Poor Cyrus and his swollen ankles!

Look Alegria! It's the Little Red Hen! She's looking for grain to make bread with!

Cameron washing off Cyrus's hooves:

Cameron picking out the mud from Cyrus's hooves:

A different theory on Cyrus's swollen hooves is that maybe they became swollen from just standing around in his pen and not from fire ant bites. He's used to being out in the open, but because it's been very wet, Cameron wants to leave him in his pen until it dries up. His concern is that leaving Cyrus out in the open may be dangerous in case Cyrus slips in the mud somewhere and hurts himself badly. So we're just going to have to make time to walk Cyrus for at least 45 minutes to an hour every day when he's stuck in his pen all day...and hopefully things will dry up soon so that he can roam free again.

Cyrus, you don't fit in the truck! And besides, there's not enough room or grass in our backyard for you to live there!

You gotta love a dirty truck! That's what a real man's truck looks like! ;)

A little grazing time:

Alegria locked the door! Not me!

What is it, Alegria? Do you see a bird?

Practicing her Army crawl with Big Bear in tow:

Thursday's over now. Boy, for a short week, it's been a long week!

G'night!
